Overview

The Scottish Government launched it’s “Eat Better, Feel Better” campaign in January 2015. Linking in with this we are looking to try to map the current provision of cooking, healthy eating, community gardening etc programmes or initiatives that take place in East Renfrewshire.

It is hoped that this can lead to the establishment of an East Renfrewshire community food and health network, which could encourage a coordinated approach to community food programmes, provide support and encourage the sharing of good practice, and explore workforce development in the delivery of new initiatives.

We would really like to hear from you, either as somewhere that does work in this area or somewhere that has service users who might benefit from this.

Why We Are Consulting

It is hoped that this piece of local research can lead to the establishment of an East Renfrewshire community food and health network, which could encourage a coordinated approach to community food programmes, provide support and encourage the sharing of good practice, look at ways of jointly funding local initiatives and explore workforce development in the delivery of new initiatives.
