John is passionate about improving how people move around East Renfrewshire. He works closely with communities, colleagues and partners to develop practical, forward‑thinking transport plans that support accessible, safer, more connected places to live, work and visit.

Alongside bringing together long‑term thinking on transport and place, he is also involved in work to reduce flood risk, helping communities become more sustainable and resilient for the future.
